Join a GMetrix Classroom (Student)
Students create a GMetrix account once, then redeem your classroom code to unlock the practice content. Plan 15 minutes of class time the first day; most of it goes to the three students who forgot which email they used.

Before class
- Have the classroom code from Guide 1 on the board.
- Decide on one sign-in method for the whole class and say it out loud. A GMetrix account stays tied to the method that created it, and GMetrix support tells students who started with SSO to keep using the same provider. A student who switches methods later can land in a second, empty account and assume their work vanished.
- Launch one practice exam yourself from a student account on a lab machine. Some Adobe practice content runs in the browser; some needs the GMetrix desktop app and the Adobe application installed. Find out which before 28 students do.
Step 1: Create an account or sign in
- Go to gmetrix.net in Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari.
- Choose one:
- Single sign-on (recommended): select the Google, Microsoft, or Clever icon at the bottom of the login window and follow the prompts. Use the one that matches your school login.
- Email: select Sign up below the Sign In button, complete the User Registration form, accept the terms, and select Confirm.

Step 2: Redeem the classroom code
- Select Redeem Code in the sidebar. (The Home view also has a Redeem Code tile that does the same thing.)
- Type the classroom code exactly as shown on the board.
- Select Redeem Code.
After a successful redemption, the unlocked program appears on the student's Home view.
The characters
0/Oand1/I/lcause most “invalid code” reports. Write the code in a monospace font on the board, or paste it into Schoology so students can copy it.
Step 3: Launch a practice exam
- Go to Home and open the program that just unlocked.
- Select a practice exam.
- Pick a mode:

Join our GMetrix class
- Go to gmetrix.net.
- Click the Google button (always the same button, every time).
- Click Redeem Code on the left.
- Type our class code:

- Click Home, open the practice test, and choose Training Mode.
Troubleshooting
